Good thing you made a new appointmentfor some extra reassurance. I still think Wigglies behaviour is quit normal due to her both ears. But I can imagine you're do worries! Specially after all you've been through lately.
Sending lots of positive thoughts and a big hug. Please keep us posted!

@1sphynxlover , will be looking for good news from her vet follow up appointment -
Keep positve ... Give Wigglie extra head smooches from me.

I always end up writing a list of questions to take with me..
Bcz I haven't gotten home amd them realized " I forgot to ask..."

Ears are can be stubborn .. It was nearly a month for by boys ears to heal completely -
I actually had to give him the antibiotics a little longer ..
Healed completely- sending the same healing vibes!

@Hairless Blessing , I had an appt Friday, but they called and now I don't go until tomorrow afternoon. They said that they may just need to change the antibiotic. I could have went today, but I don't want anyone seeing her but her regular vet. The last time I saw someone else he wanted to give her a leukemia shot. It took the tech telling him it was unsafe for her. He thought I was crazy, said he never heard of it. She is not acting normal. She's a little active but not much, plus she's started sneezing again. She's normally a little pig but her appetite isn't the same. Plus now the baby has started sneezing. I haven't been on the lair, my modem went out.

@1sphynxlover , you know you have all of us sending a lair full of positve thoughts for her vet visit tomorrow-
Glad she will see your regular vet -
Will be looking for good news updates -
A change of antibiotics may just be what will have her up and spunky -
I know Patti has mentioned some antibiotics working better than others

(((Hugs)))) I know how stressful it is when our babies don't feel well-
Especially after a tough year we have both had-
I am thinking of you and your babies and was glad to see your update -
Sorry about your modem - argh.. Hate when that happens

I sure pray for your babies. I hope all it takes is a change of
Antibiotics. They might make a difference in her appetite it's self.
They might be messing her stomach up. Will be watching for a update.

@Catzzzmeow, no should I ask him to do one? Do you think it's something serious? My appt is later this afternoon. If there's anything I need to ask please let me know.

You can inquire. When we got our last kitten, she brought something in and we dealt with symptoms of a URI for months. They did the test and could finally assess and prescribed doxycycline. Sometimes the kittens are carriers and don't show signs etc. but this test really helps to get to the root of some issues. I am not saying it is serious. I just know that for us it was worth the I think around 80.00 to get a better feel what was going on because it took forever. The test can detect things like chlamydia, herpes etc. just ask vet if this test might better detect what is going on. Update us @1sphynxlover and good luck.

They decided to keep Wiggley. She was dehydrated and had lost weight. They are giving her fluids and antibiotics thru IV. I hated leaving her. I hate the idea of her being all alone and in a cage. I left her blankie that were in her carrier along with the cat bed. They did put in a heating pad. They changed her antibiotics. I miss my baby. She's my little shadow.

Oh poor baby and mommy. Hopefully she will be a bit peppier by morning. If they wanted to keep her overnight, then she is in the best place. Hoping to see your update tomorrow @1sphynxlover

I'm feeling like a failure. I feed my babies the best food, I keep them clean. I give them each attention and play with them as a group and individually. I clean their litter boxes everyday. i just hope this isn't my fault. I did give them some different food and I used a different cat litter in one of the boxes.

Don't question yourself. Some times they just simply get sick. Tomorrow is a new day. Positive thoughts will keep going your way.

I agree, don't blame yourself, your a wonderful Mum. You do the best
You can for your babies. I was wondering, did you get these babies, that have been sick and passed, from the same breeder? Since I know who your Breeder is.
That has entered my mind also.

Not blaming anyone, but, sometimes, the bloodline, can be bad.
It happens, no fault of yours. Or no bad intentions from anyone.
Like I said entered my mind. I sure will be praying for your baby.
Looking for a update, when, you know something. Feel free to send
a pm.

@Hairless Blessing , they came from the same breeder, but aren't actually related. I don't fault them at all over Pinky and Yoda. They were as shocked and devastated as I was over their deaths. In fact, he told me he was glad Pinky passed in her sleep because it would have been to hard for him to put her to sleep. We had a guest that stayed for about a week and they smoked, I told them they would have to go outside to smoke and I had a suspicion they would smoke inside if I left. I just wonder if that had something to do with it. Since the weather has been so nice, I've been airing out the house. Ther bed sheets smelt like smoke. I had to do everything after they left. Even pillows. Maybe I got water in her ears after bathing. I think she's had a hard time recovering because the baby bugs her to death wanting to play. Maybe some quite time and different meds is just what she needs. They are like children to me, and after losing Pinky & Yoda, if the littlest thing I get a little freaky. I just really love them so much.
