^Yoda cat^ Loved Beyond Words...

On Valentines weekend,02-16-14, my Yoda cat, pretty cat took a huge piece of my heart with her to the bridge. They called your name too soon, I was not done loving you in this world.

You were my surprise birthday kitten present less than two years ago. Your daddy remembered a story I told him ..18 yrs ago I wanted to share my life with a Sphynx cat. I kept a picture on my desk at work-.everyone laughed at me- I said "someday".. I am retired now and have all the time in the world to devote to Sphynx life. I had no children..

Your daddy was told "you were such a bargain" . You came to me with so many health issues.. No health certificate etc.. sold to him met in a parking lot- because the owner was allegedly out of town. Your daddy did not see the red flags.. Your daddy only wanted to make us happy. To make me smile and give you the best forever home filled with love. The breeder fell off the radar when I tried to follow up with her..

You and I shared an incredible journey... You were born with a bad heart and thus suffered multiple saddle thrombosis episodes.. The last one on 02-16-2014 .. I held you in my arms ..

I am devastated.. I got her ashes back and my heart is just wrenched in so much pain.. I miss my little monkey cat... Her purrs, wrestling in my hair purring her heart out, knocking everything off the counter, snuggling warm in my lap and bed at night.. I miss everything about my Sphynx life with her...

I wish you and Yoda Cat could have had more time together, but she was so lucky to have such a wonderful mom during her short time on earth. I'm truly sorry that your time was cut way too short with your baby. Yoda was a beautiful girl and I believe that she was meant to be yours. In spite of all her health issues, she had a wonderful life because of your love and care. Thank goodness hubby went through with the deal in the parking lot that day! Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.

Thank you for all your kind words and for being here... It means more than words can say to be in the best of company here at The Lair. Your kind hearts remind me that Yoda came to me for a reason if only for a short while. I wouldn't trade it for the world. My heart has a gaping hole that still cries. I truly believe she knows this and sent me Toby to let go of the pain and help heal my heart.

Heck... She even has a memoire clock now displayed at Walgeens photo center for all to see one helluva pretty ^Yoda Cat^ Priceless and timeless memories..

Fly free and whole my pretty cat.... You are in the best of company now of so many fur and nekked angels that are also watching down at the bridge..

For now I am going to have my coffee in my ^Yoda Cat^ photo mug and toast to one helluva Sphynx that touched my life forever.
