Zoa's sequestrum shed!!!

I hope it's okay for me to post this in this section - to me it's more just happy exciting news than a health issue topic haha.

Some of you might remember that I mentioned a couple days ago that about half of her sequestrum shed - well I was giving her ointment just a bit ago and saw that the rest appears to be gone! There is now just a light sort of haze in that spot, which I assume is scarring. I'll have to get a better look in daylight tomorrow. Hopefully she'll let me get a better pic in proper light too! It's a little hard to see when her pupil is so dilated.

Uh, who stole Zoa and replaced her with new eyes?! She is looking so good. Your heart has to be so big right now. You and you hubby did so much for this little beauty to feel better, not look better, but you got both in return...besides the obvious....a lot of Sphynx love!!!!

I am sooo happy!! But more importantly, she is happy! Her sequestrum wasn't hurting her, but there was a possibility it would not shed on its own - my ophthalmologist was hopeful though and I am just so excited about it!

Well the rest of her whole eye issue thing was pretty necessary, this was just the one remaining bit of it that wasn't too big a deal but it is still exciting

Thanks everyone!!! The spot where it was is a slightly darker shade of gold now but looks soooo much better. @Inflamed - I'm actually not sure! I'm going to call her ophthalmologist tomorrow and ask my guess is she'll probably recommend continuing it for a while just to make sure it's sort of protected.
