We just got home after a long day, Arya’s take home note reads: Lady Arya Stark was the cutest girl today! Loved her outfit! She was wiggly but good for exam. Normal external exam overall and weight stable at 9 pounds. Echocardiogram was nice and stable, no real progression of her HCM. Dr. Brewer wants to see her back in one year. Continue current dose of atenolol.

That time of year again, I am once again asking for prayers and good vibes for Arya’s annual echo, she is scheduled tomorrow, Monday the 4th.

I knew it would happen; I was just hoping it would never happen. Ary’s echo showed some mild progression of her heart disease. The thickness of the heart muscle is the same but her left atrium and left auricle are larger. Her cardiologist is adding clopidogrel (Plavix-anti coagulation drug) once daily to prevent blood clots. We will be repeating her echo in 6-9 months now.

I am very sorry to hear you have have had the results that you were dreading. Many of us can relate to how you feel . Try not to let your mind race into the future and all the "what ifs" Arya is home ,give her all the cuddles and snuggles and love as always. Sending prayers and hugs

Oh shoot, I know this is upsetting. Just know you are doing everything possible and she is got lucky to have you giving her the best care possible. Now we hope for no more progression.
