Bacterial infection?

Gosh, I'm always so afraid for my little girl. She isn't even a year old and I just feel like I've failed her so much, she's got this rash that the vet doesn't know where it came from and now there's this on her little bean. I don't even know when this started, I'm so meticulous about cleaning her feet and then suddenly I noticed this after not bathing her (she had medication she was taking and the vet advised me not to bathe her for a little bit). She's not limping so I don't think it's a burn or cut but it's possibly a bacterial infection and I don't have an appointment until her follow up in a few weeks to see if her allergy improves with a new food.

@Lucyfurless , awh , you are not failing her. not the first we have seen yeasty or bacterial on toes.

@Catzzzmeow , @kauna @Toa and Ross and others for suggestions
I just always feel like she deserves better and I KNOW it's because of my sensitivity to animals but SHEESH. My baby isn't even officially a year old and I've gone through such trials with her.

We live in Miami, and it just doesn't seem like her vet is able to help much. She's a great vet and all, but the breed is so rare here that it's hard to get a proper diagnosis sometimes. I wanted to ask her if I could use the douxso s3 wipes seeing as she's still shy of a year old and it's hard when they're closed until tomorrow morning. I did send the pictures for her to see however.

@Lucyfurless , fellow floridian! she has the best love and care. ask about the duoxo tmrw.
sharing many of us keep on and non toxic vetericyn spray you will see mentioned in group. I wet on cotton swisspers and dab areas.
let me tell you, mine are 15 1/2 and nearing 16 now. over the years they have scraped skin on scratching posts, rugs, scratch pads etc. sometimes they can get yeasty toes, skin. do you use scented cat litter?

my vet got me hooked on trizultra w/keto almost 20 yrs ago to wipe out ears. I never flush ears. I wet swissper cotton rounds. I use to clean toe nail beds too and wipe dry after. you can ask your vet about trizultra w/keto and the duoxo .

keep us updated all paws are family.

You are so amazing, thanks SO much for taking the time to reply! I hope you're doing well in this awful weather we are having haha.

Yes, I will wait to see what she tells me. It's just so hard to wait because I am a hypochondriac about my cat lol. It's amazing to read about yours, I love that they have had so much time and care with you! I bet they are so well-loved! I have the vetericyn on hand actually, I'm just unsure if I could use it on her due to her not yet being a year.

I don't use scented litter, I've been using the boxie pro lately. Before, I used tofu litter (and loved it) but the litter robot evo doesn't seem to have an option for plant based litter (sometimes wish I had known that before I accepted it as a gift). She does love to run around a LOT though, and she's a crazy ball of energy.

@Lucyfurless , love the photos! Lilith? thank you for your kind words about my nakids!
yes, down pours here , my nakids don't mind the horrendous thunder, sound asleep in blankies... but my 2 aussie pups hate the thunder

wanted to share a quick google search, not saying what it is as I am not a vet.. how long have you been using Boxie Pro litter?
members can also share what works in litter robot evo , you can post a question.

all paws crossed for what vet says tmrw.. keep us updated, all paws are family! hugs n head smooches~

While BoxiePro is generally formulated to be hypoallergenic and safe, its probiotic formula or clay base can potentially cause contact dermatitis in some cats, triggering excessive licking and creating a moist environment ripe for a yeast infection. [1, 2, 3, 4] and this pic they added for a reference

Yes! This is indeed Lilith. :) and awe, poor pups! Do they get along with the nakeds?

And omg, I feel like this just might be it. I've only been using the boxie pro for a few weeks and she definitely didn't have this yeast between her toes beforehand with the tofu litter. Siiiiigh, I need to figure out what litter she can safely use. I'll share this with the vet as well, I just wish these stupid robots would take tofu litter, I really feel it's the best litter I've ever used.

Thanks again for everything! I will update as soon as the vet informs me!
