Can anyone recommend a good book I can get that will outline raw feeding and a good diet plan.

Poor Elfie's IBS is getting worse and I think that they only thing left to try is going raw so any suggestions on where to look would be great!

Have you looked through the threads here on the Lair in the raw section? Lots of good raw information.

I wish someone would write a book! That would've been great when I started. But the catinfo.org is a great site and so is www.feline-nutrition.org. And of course ask away here (y)

I think what's most intimidating is the volume of information on those websites. They are fabulous resources, but for someone who wants a step by step, simple break down but a break out of detail where important... well... that's tough. Despite the volume of research I performed and read, I didn't know that pork was troublesome for Sphynx tummies until I was alerted here at the Lair.

While I'm not an authority, and totally new myself, some day I'd like to take my hand at crafting some kind of summary with detail. I teach advanced technology to adults, so I should be able to pull it off and then maybe have it augmented and vetted by the more senior Lairians here. But right now... hands full.
