@farleys , welcome back!! so good to see you and Harold, happy belated 13th birthday . time flies! so glad Harold is continuing to love camping! I always love seeing our senior babies.
My two are seniors now too.. ClaireBare is 14 1/2 now and Batman 15. they do sleep more as they aged and still get their zoomies.

Wow, alot for me to think about on this string. Sounds marvelous to do. We wanted to rent an RV to take the babies on maybe a week’s vacation about 5 hours away. Only Toni (sphynx) is microchipped. Others are 15 are not. Harnesses for the latter two … wish me luck. I would like to know model etc of one with entry through bathroom. When you are renting, you are limited and it would take seeing where one was available. Lair prayers for hood news on bloods.

Our camper is an Aspen. I will look to see if I can find more details on the model. It has two main doors. One into the main living space. And the second door enters into the bathroom first with another door into the living space. So Using the door into the bathroom It has worked just perfectly for bringing Harold and our dogs. Gives a safe space to walk into and shut the door without having to ever worry about any animals escaping!
As far as bloodwork goes... Harold had a dental early August and they did a larger blood panel to be sure he was healthy enough. He passed but he did have a very slightly elevated Liver number. He has no health issues, so something we will just keep an eye on.
Thursday he was not himself.... lethargic and running a fever.
We got him in and had his bloodwork rechecked and nothing serious happening.
We work from home so we are able to keep a close eye on him.
He was back to his usual self by Thursday night, and eating.
He is doing quite well for 13 I would say. He has been a very healthy cat. We sure hope he lives forever lol!

My vet was …. why chip the 15 year olds? My husband was….harnesses…good luck with that….but they both know this has been rattling around in my noggin for quite a while. Harold’s picture cinched that.
