John, I am so sorry about your baby girl... Do you know what her illness was? Just because we all like to be on the look-out here!

And your girls now are both beautiful... Just LOVE Talulah!! (there are a few of us here that have a thing for the gingers!!)

SO glad you have known the love of these incredible little creatures... and so glad you found us!!!

We really have no idea what happened to her. She started having really watery bowel movement...then a week or two later started vomiting her food up. Took her to the Vet and he gave her some meds.....steroids i think. IDK for sure. The wife would know but im 400 miles from home for the next 18 weeks on a work assignment.

After the vet.....in a matter of a week she went from 6lbs to 2lbs! OMG she looked so bad. One morning I woke up and she was curled up shivering in my armpit. She had no strength to stand and had even urinated herself.

We put her down not a few hrs later.

Im sorry about your kitty Im glad you are know to the rescue community. I hope to one day come upon one in the same manner. as i cannot afford a new kitty. I would welcome a slightly used one. So you live in long island?
