My cat Mr Big is neutered but has taken to humping my arm. It is very annoying and can go on for 30 mins. Is this hormonal or behavioural? He is lively and cheerful otherwise, eats and drinks well but has got furrier of late.

I would have a talk with your vet about it..it sounds like anxiety to me. We had a Bengal that humped pillows and it freaked me out back then. Our vet said kitty Prozac would be a great start to bring down anxiety…my husband feared it would make him lethargic so we just dealt with it….Fast forward years later we had a Sphynx that started to pee outside of the box…we tried everything and finally went with kitty Prozac…and she had no issue later…it was anxiety/stress related. She was far from lethargic and it just took the edge off things for her. I felt so much better that she was less stressed. Let us know what you end up doing @Bigella
