Does anybody know anything about a cats behaviour/health after a booster shot? Earl was in for a booster and the past 2 days has been struggling jumping up onto the bed or climbing up the stairs. He is only a year old!! Any advice please!!!

@Shane cooney ((hugs)))

What booster did Earl get ? was it in the rear leg?

Perhaps sore muscle at injection site ?
**I would definitely call your vet and update them to his behavior .
Ask if it a side effect or adverse reaction
Does he have a temperature? Lump at site? Eating drinking normal

Some,shots do have side effects of lameness , lethargic etc?

I have called into the vets since and they gave me something called metacat. It hasn't seemed to have much of an effect, he still struggles to jump but is chasing his sister round a lot more now!! Eating and drinking like a king as usual, all seems normal apart from him struggling getting up things. I'd say his back legs look thinner but I'm might just be worrying?!
Thank you for your reply!!!

It is a great sign he is active. I worry more when they are lethargic. I recall personally, after getting any shot the area hurt for a couple of days. Next round of shots, remind your vet and they might pic a different area to inoculate. My vet makes notes in his system just for reference. @Shane cooney
