Cant vote in this pull. I am missing a none of the above.
I am sorry to say but Decibel is the cutest, most loving and funniest cat ever.
But smart or clever she is not.
Her mother and father are half-siblings and it shows.
She is kinda like the child of cletus and Brandine in The Simpsons.
I love her to death but when you all talk about how clever sphynx are, I cannot relate.

This is very true.
Many people speak about the smarts of sphynxes but I think those with experiences from other breed or backyard crosses normally know that sphynxes aren't that smart really.
They are clowns though. Fast but not as fast as most, jumps but not very coordinated if you compare to the best and one of the surest way to tell a cat is a cat they show nothing of. Cats remembers your wrongdoings almost forever. To get forgivness from a cat takes a lot of work if you did something he didn't like (that's just a cat, you have to earn them) but sphynxes forgive you in two minutes or an hour at the most.
Sometimes I think it's all a show. They do all this, miss that easy jump now and then etc just TO amuse us and since have a plan after all but I really agree more with the Cletus and Brandine theory.
Thay are insanelly affectionate, funny and have good instincts but they wont graduate from university anytime soon.
Sure they figure things out now and then but other cats do so much more and much faster normally.
For me it is pretty funny because I do have one of the smarter breeds, abysinnian (mine is with long hair and called a somali though), and a sphynx right now and I'd say a sphynx is one of the dumber so having a really smart cat and one not so smart makes me laugh a lot. Namir figures out the most amazing things and sometimes Darwin learns from watching but most of the time he don't.
I run over the tail of Namir with the wheelchair and I have to use the better part of a week to get his forgiveness and when I do the same with Darwin he run away but 2 minutes later he is on my shoulder purring again or yet again running arund the wheels as I move around.
Most cat's beat them in smarts but none in affection or laughs/day.
