Yup!! I do the mashy thing every morning!!! Do they make a pill smasher?? I think it would be a lovely investment! lol

I'm sure I've seen one somewhere. That's a good idea, would save a lot of time.

I've found something that's easier than mashing Lysine pills, and cheaper, too:

I've had my cats eat far to much Taurine, but never lysine.

Be that as it may, did you check with the other contents of the bag? Many times if it's not one ingredient that is considered toxic, another can be. Did you disclose fully all of the ingredients or, at very least, the name of the product? Better to be safe than sorry...

Yeah, I checked with the vet about the other ingredients. She is eating, drinking and acting just fine now.

The bad news: She won't even touch them now. Thanks for the link, Brooke. Might have to try that powder now. She loves the gel, but I'm really low on it and need to make a new purchase. The vet didn't have the gel on hand, but thought I should try the treats. Stella thinks they're "BLAH!" now.
