I am happy to share that we are expecting a boy. The loss of our 2 boys was very heavy on our hearts in the last month but I will forever practice what I preach that all need to heal how they feel is right for their home and heart. We can never replace our boys we recently lost, but we can love and care for another baby beyond measure. Our beeeder posted a pic of this boy a week before we unexpectedly lost Babas and I let out an "awwww." Never ever thinking we would be the proud parents of such a grumpy faced wrinkly boy...lol. We have been quiet trying to heal (I have had a few sobbing days) until last night when hubby told our niece at our favorite restaurant we were expecting a baby. She looked at me gasped and eventually realized not a real baby....but a kitten. Her reaction (jumping up and hugging us both bringing tears to our eyes) confirmed it was time to share our happiness with our Sphynxlair family. Our niece hopes to join us when we pick him up the week between Christmas and New Years. We know he is still young, but we hope he and his littermates thrive and remain healthy.

I awwwwed because of his face and markings. My first thought was Mickey Mouse. His Daddy is from Russia so we are naming him Myshka (little mouse) in Russian. You know I like unique names. There was no name game, no doubts, just moving forward with open hearts and arms. So I give you Myshka.

get him? Will be helping count down the days.

Congratulations on your new boy! Myshka is adorable with his wrinkles and little spot. And what a perfect name for the little peanut.

I am in love with his markings. in the last photo the spots on his back look like the iconic Mickey Mouse head! are you sure you don't want to name him Mickey??!:woot:

I am SO happy for you guys. This will be a good time so you guys can get yourselves mentally prepared for this new guy and he will be a great big warm spot for the holidays. He looks as he will give the girls a run for their money.

@NinaGato thank you. We definitely still need some time to heal as our home feels SO different. It is nice to have something to look forward to and by the time he comes home we will be "ready" in every sense of the word. So far the breeder said he pretty laid back and he is a real ham. But we all know that can change lol.

Yes, I can attest to how different a house can feel with certain energies gone. It takes time to find that new normal. I'm sure no matter how he winds up being he will be a blessing.

Myshka is gorgeous! The name is just perfect. I'm sure he will bring lots of love and warmth to your home. I know he won't replace your two boys, but he'll carry your love in a magical way to make that pain a little easier for you.

@Catzzzmeow , Myshka is more special and loved beyond measure than his adorable wrinkly face even knows !
Love love his name ! His Mickey mark has a mouse tail color to go with it ! Reminds me of the nutcracker :) look at those ears I am sure will share lots of whispers of loving cuddles
I have a feeling this little ham will bring a whirlwind of purrfect energy ringing in the holiday season..
The heart always knows ((( hugs))) to you and Michael and smooches to the girls

He's still a grumpy-face!!!! What a cutie! Bob saw the pictures just now, and said, "He's a Marcus 2.0!" Marcus formally welcomes him to the League of Mickey Mouse Kitties! Your girly girls had better watch out--a baby tornado is coming their way.....;)

Congrats Patti! I just came across this post. Coincidentally, my wife and I are slated to leave for Disney next Tuesday. We love it there. Unfortunately, given the circumstances, we're don't know if we're going to enjoy it. I showed your picture to Jen and she fell in love and immediately saw the mickey, haha. Thanks for bringing some smiles to us.
