Anyone have any idea on how long it takes before antibiotics start clearing things up? I'm seeing new spots on her and getting worried that it's not working o_O. Am I just being impatient? She started on them on Tuesday night w/ her first dose, so it's only been 3 fulls days.

@ArlosMom well what did your vet say about that? I would think that things should begin to calm down a bit by now and certainly not see new spots erupting. See what your vet says. You may not be using the best antibiotic for this bacteria. Don't forget this is going on since at the breeder.

Keep us informed and best of luck. Poor little baby. :(

@GoldHazel ; haven't heard from her yet--I left a message and also emailed her. But I am not patient, so figured I'd post here too in case anyone has any exp. with this type of situation/antibiotic. thanks!

@ArlosMom ok, no problem, I know what you mean. It's hard to be patient when it comes to these nakeds...whether it's waiting for them to leave the breeder and be in your arms forever...or just finding out answers to questions about their welfare, etc. So I get it. :)

@ArlosMom , replied to your dosage thread .. See the adorable updated here so will continue replies here :)
Absolutely adorable together :)

Ask your vet if it is equivalent to "hotspots" ( bacterial) ?
They are stubborn.
I dealt with that bacterial type over the years on and off with dogs but never in cats -
i have used Vetericyn VF with skin stuff along with antibiotics -
I keep Vetericyn VF spray on hand now :)

I would follow your vets advice and treatment plan and see how she does in a week or so-
Hopefully she is on the road to healing amd will be all cleared up soon!

Thank you for sharing their pics!
Head smooches !!
