Peeing problem

Hello everyone. Im new here and i am really enjoying all the information, photos and stories. i recently got a kitten at 10 week old and now she is 5 m old. At first i was at awe how smart and easy it is to litter train her. She would do her bussiness in a litter box and i decided to get her the toilet training kit and it was perfect as she really got used to it and never had an issue for 2-3 months. She did pee in her carry bag right in front of me, and then i saw she p0reviously did it on my bed and just today she did it again in my laundry bin I am so confused about it that at first i got mad, then hugged her after 30 m being mad. I really wonder if anyone had a similar issue with them, I brough back her litter box and tried more of a positive reinforcement as to giving her treats etc . But this just doesnt seem and feel right with cats. I love her so much that it affected me really hard. Any suggestions?

@LOK , welcome to the lair family. what is your baby's name? all paws are family. I always suggested as mentioned to rule out any medical issue, urinary tract infection?

I would take her to the vet for a wellness check for peace of mind and rule out any brewing urinary tract infection. if it is an infection best for early intervention,

also, are you planning to spay her? it can help with behavioral spraying problems in both male and female cats. yes, female cats can spray too. Should I spay or neuter my sphynx cat?

Rule out medical first always for peace of mind

you did right by bringing back out her litterbox and using positive reinforcement with treats. I actually did this with a male bengal cat retired stud I adopted many years ago. I train my kitties like a dog. as soon as he came out of the litter box, praise and treat immediately in front of the box. then I worked up to random treats .

I train my cats like dogs. I did the same treat and praise when training them to scratching posts/ scratching floor cardboard scratchers, and to a meet and greet spot on a chair for when I leave and come back home. you can train them to do tricks too .

you will need to wash areas with an enzyme cleaner. breeder suggested anti icky poo scented or unscented to me years ago to keep on hand with pets. my vet sells it , but I found it on line in a gallon size on chewy, etc. I have both on hand and prefer the unscented. I actually use it to spray cat and dog bedding and put in laundry to wash.
there are other brands too like nature's miracle some members use/keep on hand,

You guys thank you so much for the support. Since i brought the old litter box she seems to behave, so i guess she didnt like the idea of using the toilet, although i was over the moon about her using it at first. her name is Piso and Ill share a photo

So happy you already remedied the issue…kudos to you! Many don’t listen to their babies and push what they want and not what their cats are wanting.

soo happy you went with your gut and got her litter box back out. great job Team Piso.
mine are picky with their litterboxes, have to scoop a few times a day. I kept breaking plastic scoopers, years ago switched to metal scooper.
