Sending healing vibes to Batwing! Poor little boy. After all he's been through in his past now this again.(and lucky little boy for having you as his mommy now). Hope the vet knows whats going on and can solve the issue with some meds or something.

Thanks for all the support. I was at the vet till around 2 am this morning. They put dye in his eye to check for scratches and ulcers and found nothing. They then looked under his third eyelid for a foreign object and it was hard for them to see anything. I was sent home with antibiotics as the doctor believes it is probably done sort of infection. I'm still not very confident of that as he was fine before I left for work. It seems odd that a infection would come on so quickly. I'm in contact with my regular vet about the issue currently.

An infection so suddenly seems a bit odd indeed. On the other hand, sometimes an infection comes up real quick. Hope the antibiotics will help Batwing and hope your regular vet can say something about his eye! Keep on sending healing vibes.

If the discharge is yellowish then it most likely is an infection. Let's hope that is all it is and the antibiotics do their job. Your normal vet might also recommend ointment.

Well our Dr gave batwing a pain reliever eye med to add to the antibiotic. The antibiotic is supposed to show dramatic improvement with in 48 hours. If it doesn't then we definitely have a problem. In the mean time if it's not some sort of infection then his eye won't be in pain either way.

Batwing looks and seems better today. Our vet believes that it is just his infection that he's been fighting for a long time coming back. We are continuing medications and monitoring. That's for all the well wishes!
