Hi everyone, I’m posting to look for potential homes for 2 sphynx cats we’ve taken in. I’m a small one person rescue that often takes in haired cats, and vets them to go to forever homes, but have ended up with two hairless kitties as of these last few months who are still looking for homes.
One is a male - he’s 2.5 years of age, clean bloodwork screen, FIV/FELV negative, and had a clean BNP Level checked last year in January. He’s fully vaccinated and microchipped. He does take Prozac topically for anxiety, and without it, has occasionally urinated on soft surfaces if they’re left on the floor, which is likely why the owners gave him to us. We have him kept out of the bedroom to make sure he doesn’t pee on any carpets, but we haven’t caught him peeing on the carpets elsewhere in our home. He is cat selective so would be best in an only cat home. Has done okay with our calm dogs
The other is a 2.5 year female, who was found as a stray, the owner adopted her from a rescue and she started to eat paper. She tries to eat napkins, paper towels, and toilet paper if given the chance. Bloodwork screen was normal, fully vaccinated and microchipped. Clean fecal sample since 3 weeks ago. She’s extremely afraid of other cats, needs to be an only cat. Does fine with dogs.
I will be properly screening each potential home. They do have an adoption fee of 250, located in New Stanton, Pa
