Magnawave is typically used in horses, but it can also be used on other animals and even people. It's great for reducing inflammation and can help with pain too.

She got a nice soaking bath this morning. Unfortunately with her poops being so liquid, she gets pretty gross quickly. But she tolerates baths really well, and aside from the soreness in her bum from all the diarrhea, she's looking quite a bit better!

My friend was absolutely amazing and made her 8 sweaters and a cuddle sack, which she has been thoroughly enjoying!

Update on Nirvana: bloodwork and fecal came back, and aside from an upper respiratory infection and ear infections, everything including her ProBnP looks perfect.
Her poor bum is red and raw from the loose stool, but I'm seeing a little improvement with the meloxicam. I'm still doing a load or two of her laundry a day though. We started doxycycline to help with the URI, and teramycin as well.
She's so incredibly affectionate, choosing pets over food. Her heated bed came in today, and I just set it up with blankets for extra comfort.
Her hydration is much improved, and I think she's on the journey to recovery with her weight.
Overall good news and a positive update!
Oh, and I suppose I should mention she does have to be separated from the other nakids for at least a month, just in case. They're all doing well though, Lynnie is even getting a bit chunky (diet time!).

Princess Vana is steadily improving! We had a minor setback with her stool after finishing a round of metronidazole, but we have her back on it temporarily, along with on GI Biome food, and thankfully she had her first normal poop! She's still a huge cuddlebug, demanding to be picked up and petted constantly. The only issue she seems to still be having is coughing/sneezing, so that'll be the first thing I have the vet check next Tuesday. We still have a few weeks before we can do an ultrasound, but it's on my list.

Well, we're feeling much better, and she's currently in heat! (My poor vet, I thought she had tweaked a nerve or was dying or would need a wheelchair because she was doing the weird crouchy thing. In my defense, I've never had an unspayed female cat.)
She was healthy enough to get her shots on Tuesday, and although she's having upper respiratory symptoms and on antibiotics and miserable in heat, she's doing much better!

@MaddieP , awh, hugs.. are you planning on spaying her. sharing when I got my first sphynx at 8 mos old she quickly went into heat after I got her , she also had a URI. I learned that intact females can get pyometra which can be life threatening. I spoke to my vet to schedule spaying (NO Ketamine) . My girl had a bad heart on top of it and vet spayed her using isoflurane. she recovered quickly. hugs n head smooches to all paws. following for updates

She's officially scheduled for her spay on the 11th! She's also thankfully out of heat, and feeling much better. We got some cuddle time in earlier. Now we just have to get her URI cleared up and then she can be integrated with all her new siblings. They're very curious about the crying from the spare room, and I know they'll be excited to meet their new sister.

I don't think my vet uses ketamine at all, but I'll reconfirm when I drop her off. She actually slipped past me this morning and ran right up to Lynnie, who seemed mildly concerned when I scooped her up and went right back in her room with her. Her symptoms for the URI seemed to have drastically decreased, so I'm hoping by next Tuesday she'll be cleared to meet everyone.

Vana update!
She's settled in nicely, her spay went well and she calmed down quite a bit. Her lingering URI symptoms mostly went away, and we introduced her to the other cats. After a few days of fussing on her part, everyone is getting along pretty well.
I did notice she had a cough that would seem like she couldn't catch her breath or was choking a few times a day. I brought her back to the vet last Tuesday, and they took a chest X-ray and sent it to a radiologist. She got some steroids in the meantime, and some pills to try and help with her violent car sickness.
They called on Thursday, and unfortunately she has asthma. So we got a kitty nebulizer and the vet had to special order her medication. I'm so glad I immediately got insurance on her, because meds are $250 every month to two months depending on how she responds. We've been getting her used to the nebulizer in the meantime.
Everyone else is great, and aside from her coughing episodes, she is too. She's so affectionate and comes to greet me at the door when I get home. She's not very shy and enjoys getting cuddles from whomever will give them.

It's been a while, but the good news is that it's because there's nothing to report! All the nakids are doing amazing. Lynnie turned 7 on the 15th, and we threw him a Jurassic Park themed party on Saturday night. He also got to go out on Tuesday to all his favorite places and a few new ones! We went to the mall, to my friend's barn where he got to meet a horse (he was extremely unhappy to meet said horse), a tattoo shop (because mom is so obsessed she's getting a portrait of him done next month), and to a fantastic local saltwater aquarium store where he got to explore off leash and enjoy the employees attention solely on him. (If you can't tell, he's extremely beloved, to the point that if I don't bring him when I go to the mall, I get interrogated)

Vana is in tip top shape! She's finally a normal weight, and she regularly snuggles with the other cats. She loves to greet visitors as much as Lynnie does. We're working on her car sickness slowly but surely.

Unfortunately Ebi is not doing the best. He's almost completely blind and deaf, and is just generally disoriented. He takes a while to register that it's mom petting him, and that he's safe. It breaks my heart.

All the nakids have annual heart scans on the 3rd and 4th of May. It will be Vana's first scan, so I'm hoping we aren't four for four with heart issues. Please cross your fingers for us!
