Toothless is home!!

Well it took us over twice as long to get home then it did to get up there .. dang snow .. but we are finally settling little Toothless into her new home!

Nothing phases this little spitfire!
She is fearless!

We pulled into a service center on the way home to get gas and something to eat and I couldn't leave her in the car!
I thought she would be upset going into the rest stop .. nope! She wanted up on my shoulder so she could watch all the people go by!

Elfie isn't sure she is ok with this new development (I think she's been in denial up to this point) There hasn't been any hissing or growling, but Elfie is letting me know her own passive aggressive sort of way that this is not alright with her!

So we've had our first hiss!
Elfie is trying to prove she's still the Queen .. and as I'm learning quickly is just her nature Toothless is completely un phased!

This is for the birds .. and not fun birds like Da Bird .. the girls need to be separated for now, which is normal.
But that means that I'm downstairs with Elfie, because she is furious with me, and my sister is upstairs with Toothless!

Ross here, the brother of the mighty peanut (tsss can you believe he's proud of a name like that?). I know how you feel by toothless getting all the attention now. My brother Toa did get all the attention the last few weeks because he was being sick (I just think he's a poseur). But I just didn't worry about that because I just know I'm the most handsome, strongest, best and cutest of us two. So don't let that little Toothless babie worry you.

I think you're much more beautiful then Toothless is. You're my queen and you will always be the queen in the house. Maybey, if she's lucky Toothless will be lucky to be one day a princess but never she will be a Queen like you. A cuddle from Ross

Yes she was a very curious little kitten the whole drive home, she wanted to be everywhere!

I have read Elfie your Ross's comments and she has asked me to type her response ...

Ross, thank you very much for your kind words.
Your advice will taken under advisement, at this point in time I feel the need to "train" this .. Toothless, what kind of name is that.
She is completely unaware that I have set the standards for this house very high.

Thank you for your kind words, at least someone understands and appreciates how difficult it is to be Queen and still maintain my appearance.

I don't normally do this but, I would also like to say how very distinguished you look as well.

In closing, thank you for helping me put this whole "kitten issue" in perspective.

So we had a few food issues yesterday.

She doesn't seem to like the food the breeder sent home with us.
She also didn't really know what to do with the raw ..

So this morning I mixed some of the cans I still have (haven't gotten around to donating) of blue buffalo with just a little bit of raw and well ...

This was followed by much purring and lots of messy kisses and head bumps for me!!


Elfie is still being butt head :facepalm:
She was in the room this morning for a little while just to observe .. as long as Toothless didn't go right up to her there was no hissing.

So small improvements all around!

What a queen you are! Just in one day you allready trained that babie thats called Toothless to respect the space around you.
Toothless just need to know she has to bow for you and can be your servant as soon as she know how a queen needs to be treated.

Having Toothless home has certainly been an adventure.

She is a fearless little jumping bean and nothing stops her!

Both girls are still trying to feel each other out, no one wants to bend yet ... I'm thinking it's going to take a little bit.

They've actually been making some great progress!

If Toothless is chasing a ball around Elfie runs and tries to run after her; it's really funny when she realizes she actually playing and just stops and sits!
