That’s a great idea! I would love to do that and document the journey. Perhaps it would help others also.Just thinking you might start a new thread about their weight loss…it’s been quite some time since there has been a “go to” thread showing before, during and after pics and tricks of the trade. Past threads have always been people asking for advice etc. Once you get it going and you start to share/document I can ask admin to make it a sticky if you feel it will help others. If you do start new thread share pic and weights…it is going to be one heck of a transformation and I bet their activity level will be crazy! Again kudos to you…bless those babies.

I agree that we all get a little paunchy with age. Agnes was always at the 10.5lb range. These two are quite heavy and not in a healthy way. I am feeding them at specific times with specific amounts and not letting them graze all day.I think all cats get a little paunchy at some point during their lives (as do we all) and this will be a huge help because you use the same strategies to keep things under control.
I was too but then again it wasn’t showing signs of improvementOh shoot was hoping her eye was on the mend. I love their term of endearment for Otis. Fingers crossed bloodwork comes back stable and above all hope they are showing you they love their forever home.

Oh yes! I thought the meds were in the previous post. Thanks for sharing. Hopefully flare up diminish as she continues to settle in and feel less stress. you shared some great info for all dealing with reoccurring issues. What ointment/drops are they recommending at this time. Gosh she is lucky to be with you, eye discomfort is not fun and she is getting some relief now.
I agree about going to the specialist and that our regular vet recommended a specialist as she knew it would be best for Miss Dolly. I will say I was nervous about her possibly needing surgery. It is a relief that we are just doing the medications. I think we will get through them slowly. She likes being wrapped like a burrito so that’ll help. (They did that while she had her eyes examined) she was a rockstar patient!Hoping she is good/tolerant of you treating her…and I hope even more the recheck goes well. Again thanks for sharing, your info will be helpful to others in the future. I think your seeing a specialist really gives you a jump start on treating this.
