Snuffie has minty breath sometimes. She chews on a kitty mint stick toy thing I found at PetSmart. lol

Other times its more like Tuna mouth tho! lol

Gabriel smells like pancakes. I even sing to him about it. When he's been marinating under the blankets and I pick him up, it's like a wave of freshly made pancakes. YUM!

Steve thinks it's more like McDonald's hash browns, but I disagree.

Yes I am quoting myself to correct my original post! She only smells like the abovementioned on bath day and perhaps the next couple days that follow. In between she smells more like this mushroom smell I've been hearing about AND fart!!! Little girl -- big smell!​

Our little girl is ALL mushrooms. I bathe her weekly, but give her 2 hours of warm cuddling and she goes right back to that smell. Good thing I love mushrooms! Made a new, terrific stuffed mushroom appetizer recipe for New Years and thought of her the whole time. Our boy Sphynx does not have the same smell, so we know it is not the shampoo, but just a part of their unique breed.

Wednesday, smells like baby formula. She gets a bath and smells so good for about a day. Then it's right back to the formula smell. It tends to make me alittle ill after a while. She is a very sweet, lovable and intelligent, but smelly.

This thread is so freaking funny! I think they smell the same as asphalt does after there's been a light rain, especially after they've been sleeping under the covers. That kind of clean dirt smell. Demeter makes a spray perfume/cologne that smells like dirt, called....Dirt. Maybe they should rename it Sweaty Pussy.

Funny story.. I voted the other day saying other because I never thought my kitty had a smell....well I was reading how everyone was saying cooked mushrooms(but I dont eat them so I couldnt even begin to describe how they smelt) anyway, I went out the other night to that resaurant melting pot(great place by the way ) and sure enough they bring out a cup of veggies to cook with your dinner with mushrooms!!!! so I grab a few and throw them in a pot. Once done, I took them out and started smelling them.. meanwhile my bf is looking at me like ive lost my mind then i tell him to smell it and goes ok so? im like OMG NIRA SMELLS LIKE A COOKED MUSHROOM!!!! then he agreed ..so yep.. my cat smells like a cooked mushroom .... lmao :Laugh:

I can't describe the smell, but it's when she has just slept under blankets and is all warm and sweaty. I just call it her sweaty-odour and it's kinda sweet and very good to smell. Of course, I don't know if everybody would think the same of her smell. Maybe it's my twisted mind . But I like her smell!

we call their special brand of stink: "shellfish and pink" with overtones of hay mixed in.

i love it! it's a comforting smell and distinctly sphynxie. as Faeron stated, i'm sure there's something twisted about it

Boone smells of Baby Magic Bath for a couple of days after I've bathed him. When the bath smell fades, he doesn't smell of anything. That is, until I clean his ears mid-week, then he smells like peaches. My African Grey parrot always smells like homemade Portuguese french fries.
