Those are funny stories. :) LOL LOL
I just love it.
Even with vomiting...I can't tell you how many times a pet has thrown up in my husband's shoes! LOL They leave toys in there too. Hehe!

By the way, my son's cat suddenly starting peeing in sinks and he had an infection. It hurt him to pee, so he chose to pee in the sink because it was cooling.

Really vomiting in his shoe that is too funny!!!

Yes, I worried about a infection the first time I saw Hairry do it so I waited till the next day and got a sample (put a couch syrup cut in the drain) and took him & it to the vet. It was nothing other than him being a butt head boy.

Ok good. :)
Nicole, what is a "couch syrup cut"?

Next to the litterbox in my room and next to the litterbox that looks like a planter in my family room, I have genies! I have the Litter Genie downstairs and I have a Playtex Genie upstairs in my room (for babies...holds diapers). LOL
I really can't flush their stuff. I have septic and I'd mess up the system.

Love those genies!! Best purchase EVER! Can't flush the stuff even on municipal sewage.....

It didn't pay for me to have the Litter Genie upstairs because that thing would be full in a day. LOL That's why we got the Diaper Genie (biggest deluxe model) for upstairs. :)

Yeah, even with all the kitten proofing she still finds ways to either cause trouble, or in this case, get hurt. Luckily, her paw was fine. I think it scared her more than anything.

Aww. Hopefully she will be more careful in the future. :)

Not now. But I used to when I lived in my last house and apartment. I guess I was juat used to it but when we moved into the house we live in now I changed it. We have 6 boxes all over the house. The cats aren't aloud in the basement. We only have 3 cats now but the cats arw so used to having all 6 boxes I just leave them. It makes the litter last longer.

That's still a lot of litterboxes to clean out. UGH! LOL

I have an ensuite bathroom attached to my bedroom, the XXL jumbo tray is in there. We have another tray in the main bathroom but they very rarely use it. They will walk past the other tray to go use the big one. Who knows why they prefer it, perhaps cause it's the size of a house, maybe they get lost in it, lol!! ... But they spend ages in it, sometimes two cats at the one time.

If I didn't have an attached bathroom, I would have to have it in my bedroom as I shut my cats in the room at night. But I don't think it's gross like some people are making out. My box is covered and has a great door on it with a carbon filter and there are rarely any smells from it.

My whole life I've been able to take care of my pets. I don't get grossed out by their vomit, poop, etc., but when it comes to people, UGH! LOL

Robin, we talked about this and surprise we have the same litter boxes they are great I have a few of them . I put two in the hall right next to eachoth and thy are back hall by bathroom. It works we'll because it is out of thewY but stroll we use the bathroom close to it so we just scoop when we poop Lol just kidding it rymed anyway it gets loped often and there is ever odor in my house unless someone has a upset tummy. In any awe we have the same jumbo one upstairs hall and a larg but small per one in our bedroom because we sleep with our door. Loses and the two youngest sleep with us. I think shortly his will be changing because now they are up to use it and are quite noisy about it.

The whole reason it was put there was because we kept each kitten with us. During the day when I am asleep the bedroom door is open so no one has to use it but I do find on occasion the kitties that don't have access to it them think they need to use it which is annoying.

Before I got my naked a my litter boxes were down in the basement and I cut a hole in the bottom of my antique door which I regret. Now I have a baby gate covering it because I feel the naked could get hurt in the utility room where all kinda of stuff is stored. Tools nails sharp edges I didn't worry about the furs because they had fur and because they are not little curious rascals like the nakeds . The furs would do their business and come right back and also it is much much to cool for them and I didn't want to have potty issues because they were cold doing their business so I opted to put it on 2 floors of the 3 and they are out of the way enough but there enough not to get forgotten.

Christina, I have no idea why I never saw your post until just now. Sorry about not replying sooner.
Yes, our huge litterbox is terrific. Love, love, love it. :)
I too used to have all my furry cats use a litterbox in the basement. It's a finished and heated basement, but I don't want the sphynx babies down there. LOL

I have our one and only litter box in our bedroom. Not really by choice, but because it's the only place that works. I have the Litter Robot and although I love it, it's gigantic. We have a mother/daughter set up in my house, but if my mom didn't live downstairs, that's where the box would be. My next choice would be to put it in my master bathroom, but there's just no room for it in there.

How many cats can fit in the Litter Robot at one time?

Just one really. Although one will squeeze in with the other in an emergency...lol. But it's really tall and wide, which is the problem with fitting it under my suspended bathroom sink. Although I have two full baths and one half bath in my house, they are all relatively small :(. Down the road when we remodel the master, I'm going to ditch the full tub and go with just a shower. Then I'm going to use the leftover space for the litter box with some shelving above it. At least that's my dream.

Sounds like a plan. :) I love to dream also about doing my master bathroom over. I don't want to tell you HOW MANY years I've been dreaming about it. LOL

We did have one in our bathroom but had to move it since our new kitty is very messy. Both are now in the laundry room since its the only place to put it really. I have a 1 year old that would get into it anywhere else
