santa red rose bush I just bought this week for my birthday. I was just browsing the home depot garden section and saw it. As soon as I saw the name tag "santa red" , it called to my heart. I like it stays small and can be kept in a container. put on my pool lanai. does not have a real scent like my fav Don Juan red roses but those are climbing variety. the don juan rose has survived 15 yrs of heat, cold , hurricanes. it is the special rose for my beloved furbabies and nakids. Thought i would try this santa rose, as reminded me of all the love of my beloved Max who loved xmas and my beloved brother rotties bubba bear and sam that were born xmas day.

3 baby anhinga birds in a nest in the tree behind my house on the little pond. I watch mum fish in the pond and feed the babies that are getting soo big and their black feathers starting to come in. mum and dad make this honking noise when sunning spreading their wings.
