Help with skin?

I posted a while back about my girl's diet. Thankfully, the food I have her on now has helped her soft stools however.... I now have another concern. Lilith has been having itchiness and has been grooming/scratching more than usual and I've noticed some rashes coming in. I do have a vet appointment lined up but just to ease my mine a little bit, (I know it's not fatal or anything but I feel so bad for my baby) I wondered if any of you have had to go through this as well and what was the cause/solution? Any advice will be deeply appreciated.

Haven't changed anything really since I've gotten her besides her food a few times but this is the first time she's had any sort of reaction. I do think that maybe a fabric softener could potentially be the culprit if not the food but her primary vet wants me to drop her off tomorrow morning and pick her up after a few hours. I'm so nervous. I know it's probably just a reaction but she's my entire life and I'm just so sad that she's uncomfy. this is what it looks like today:

Many have issues with fabric softeners…also the main protein in food can be an issue…we often see chicken be the culprit. Let us know how you make out

Follow up: they definitely think that it's a food allergy so I will have to put her back on gastrointestinal. So sad because she liked the food she is currently eating and got bored of the gastrointestinal back when she was taking it but I'm just so glad it's not anything more serious.
