@MaoSphynx sorry to hear he pooped on the carpet again. He doesn't have a litterbox, am I right? I know he never used the litterbox but maybe you can try again to see if he wants to use it now.

back with update!Mao is the opposite of well and has been so for the past two days.Not eating,drinking and he's really inactive,preferring to sleep in his blankets.He has diarrhea and vomiting.We're still feeding him Purina but a different kind,from Kitten Chow to Friskies(the latter having color additives) which I think may be causing all this.I have told my mom about taking him to the nearest vet and still waiting for an answer.Any idea what this might be?Heard that I should keep him hydrated so I'm trying to get some water into him.Looks like he became a bit thinner

I'm not sure. I'd make sure he's getting water though. He sounds like a sick kitty, acting like a sick human baby.
Hopefully he gets better soon!
Someone else might have more ideas than me, @Yoda mom @Catzzzmeow @Toa and Ross, @Xandria @admin not sure if you guys know anything, just going off the top of my head of people with a larger knowledge base than me

@MaoSphynx , I would call your vet for suggestions is me he was just there for his neuter and let them know his symptoms - especially tell them about the foul odor from his mouth - it can be anything from smelly from certain flw ore dust food to dental - tooth issue.
I know my dog gets stinky breath on certain fish flavored food.

You can check him for hydration with the video I shared
Amd also gently look at the color of his gums - white , pink?
Moist or dry ?

You want to make sure Mao is not getting dehydrated especially with vomitting and diarrhea.
I know my Senstive kitty will vomit and diarrhea if I change her food.
I feed her one brand of food - the same one actually for almost a year -

Vet office may advise to stick with one food - usually food trials take several weeks up to 10- 12 weeks.
it has to be done sloooowly or it can upset their digestive sydtem especially with the more sensitive kitties.

They can be Senstive to any ingredient like you mentioned

Is he drinking water on his own?
Sometiems they like to drink water from a water bowl far away fro, those food dish-
My Claire omly will drink water fro, a bowl acros the room from her food bowl -
My boy will drink right next to his food

Please give Mao head kisses from me -
I hope hr feels better soooN and you are able to talk to your vet
Ask if this could be from change of food and his recent neuter surgery

@MaoSphynx Poor Mao. Sorry to hear he is not feeling well. I hope your mom agrees to take him to the vet soon! The combination diarrhea and vomiting is bad and can make him get really sick. Good thing you try to get some water in him. Do you know how you can see if Mao gets dehydrated?

As you said you changed Mao's food, I think this can be the reason him being not well. If it's possible I would go back to his old food.

His gums are pink and moist,he did drink some water on his own.contacted the vet,not working today,only tomorrow from 8 p.m.The other didn't pick up his phone:depressed::arghh:I will try to call him again later

Like others suggested maybe try putting him back on his old food? Try giving him a few kibbles at time from your hand and see if he takes it.
I think great advice has been given, I hope Mao can get in to see the vet soon.

Good check on his gums and glad he drank some water

I do notice with some foods they drink more
I also change the water 3-4 times a day
Mine like it really fresh and come running when they see the water pitcher
