First, here is my last post in case anyone wants to reference it... Layla (new baby) vet visit update
So, Layla had some new "eruptions" this morning. They look more blister-like and are sort of strung together (so more like clusters instead of individual sores). I am thinking more that this may in fact be demodex as the doctor mentioned. However, I am quite hesitant to put a topical product on her such as the one the vet recommended (advantage multi). Instead I ordered and was going to try one of the following: Scabisil (sulfur ointment-all natural), Nu Stock OIntment, Goodwinol Ointment ..
I would of course use VERY sparingly and rub in extremely well. Her sores are mostly under her neck and on the sides of her ears. Does anyone have any experience with any of these products or thoughts. I am so worried about this baby. I also dont' want to further irritate the skin. UGH! I also emailed the vet and strongly urged her to give Layla a shot of covenia just to be safe that there is no underlying infection. Here is her latest outbreak:
