Ahhh poor little Zhuri's face is pretty banged up today from rubbing on the metal bars of the cage yesterday! It literally breaks my heart to see her like this :cry:

Happy I warned you, people freak as it is a delayed reaction for the oozing/scabbing. Do you by chance have Vetericyn spray? It is not toxic and will help. Good call on your vet telling you to get her earlier than expected, as she really could have been much worse. poor girlie.

I do have that! I have applied twice today. Her face just seems to be peeling a little now. My sweet little angel! Just breaks my heart to see her like this! Thanks for the recommendation!

Thank you! Her incision looks fine her belly is just getting dirty (as it usually does after a few days) i have just been wiping around the best that i can without going too close to her incision! Thanks for your warm wishes!

Bless her heart. It will heal up thankfully.
But it's hard to see our babies with anything wrong.

She is doing great. Definitely sleeping alot and very relaxed compared to how she was pre-surgery! But all is well, thanks for checking in!

Thank you!! So they did find traces of bacteria im Zhuri's urine, so she is currently on an antibiotic and no accidents since!! She does however get close to peeeing over the edge of her box sometimes because she doesn't always squat low enough and one of our boxes is a low profile one so it shoots over the edge :bored: lol but so far so good! Hoping things stay back to normal!! Kisses to buck & pinky! :kiss:

Great update! Glad to hear she is on the mend no no more issues. You might look at top entry litter boxes. It also helps with less tracking of litter because of the lid.

Just don't stop the existing cold turkey. Add some poop to the new one and use both by each other for a while until you are confident your baby is okay with the new style.
