So, WHAT is it about sphynx cats and tattooed folks?? There seem to be quite a few of us! Maybe it's just that we recognize the beauty and allure of body modifications?

Regardless, I am another tattooed cat owner. (I mean, I have tattoos. I'd never actually get my cat tattooed- that's just cruel! Altho, temporary tattoos might be amusing for a photo shoot sort of thing.)

I don't have any "sphynx" cat tattoos YET (but am planning on it), but I do have some feline art and a couple of them are "sphinx" tattoos! The small yellow and black winged cat on my chest is adapted from a M.C.Escher print; the larger Cat/Woman sphinx on my back has the same coloration as my calico Josette. I also have a "Zen cat" stylized design of a Himalayan on my upper back.
I'm just adding a thumbnail of my tattoos--the woman sphinx tattoo drawing does have somewhat NSFW bare breasts.

Yes, I am already thinking about a inked portrait of my sphynx kitten Gaz--hope to get it soon!

Oh, by the way...one more tattoo and sphynx connection... the local breeder I got Gaz from is also a tattoo artist! She and her husband are moving soon, but I got quite a bit of ink from Laura while she was working at Blue Rose Tattoo here in Huntsville AL. I'm also REALLY glad I got one of her kittens too!

I had a tattoo appointment scheduled for a week ago, but I also had the flu--so had to cancel on the ink work. (besides generally feeling like crap, trying to hold still while fighting coughing fits would not have worked at all well). Will try to reconnect with my artist soon, and I WILL get some Sphynx ink in 2015.

I love the tattoo shirts for sphynx, but I've also seen some sick people out there who actually give their sphynx tattoos and it makes me sick to my stomach.

I love tattoo, have a dozen or so myself, none of them are of my kittens. Though I do have a memorial tattoo for my Skully, its a forget me not.

I decided to get a tattoo when I turned fifty (last year) couldn't decide what to get, found a design similar to this and fell in love with it.
This is on the side of my calf, colors are similar to one of my cats and the shape is similar to the other.
