Ohhhhh I am so sorry your baby gained their wings…it hits so many of our hearts like they are our own. Fly high sweet baby. I hope you hold the best memories closest to your heart.

Oh no. So sorry. Life is so fragile but we are their voice as YodaMom says. If there is nothing else I do right in this world, let it be that I give them the best life ever with minimal suffering as you have done….hard and painful as that is for us. RIP Ebi. Hugs to you in your grief.

@MaddieP , ((squeeze hugs))) my heartfelt condolences sweet Ebi gained his angel wings. I share in the emotions to be our baby's voice with wings of peace and dignity. Ebi only knew your love and care and that is everything. Remember the love, soo much love. all paws are family, here for you. Ebi lives in your hearts forever and ever.

I appreciate all the support so much, it's been rough not having him here anymore, but at the same time he's been declining for a while. Poor Bunny definitely misses him. He was her snuggle buddy and she roomed with him every night instead of with the three other nakids. She ran to be with the others last night, and I think she knows he isn't coming home
It hit me pretty hard last night at bedtime. Bunny ran to the main cat room instead of his room, and I left half the churu on the counter before I caught myself. Seeing his door open past the normal time... it's been all the little things. I gave him Chic fil a for his last meal because I used to throw it to him when we were trying to get him to like us. Even when I was holding it under his nose, he couldn't find it. He tried to get on the bed and splatted himself against the side before he managed to get on it. I know it was time, but it still hurts.
I'm sure we'll end up with another furbaby sooner rather than later because I can't imagine not having one forever, but I can say that I'm holding my nakids extra close.
Unrelated, but on a more positive note, I went to a consult with a fabulous tattoo artist earlier, and May 19th I'll be getting a Lynnie portrait!
It's been a really long few weeks, some of it good, some of it really bad, and I know I have some more highs and lows coming, but hopefully their heart scans go well.

I do believe they send us the one to love like they knew in this world. take time to heal , I know the emotions ebb and flow.

I agree, it's all the little things, the small subtle changes after they have gone that really get you. Thinking of you, a tattoo seems like great idea. (I was thinking of getting my Wilsons paw print tattooed somewhere ,the people at the crematorium took his pawprint , but haven't quite plucked uptime courage yet !)
