@Sheldon13 t hanks for checking! sam is doing much better. wants his hedgehog toy again. that's a good sign. also eating a little more, no his food, but the aussies food . hugs n head smooches to Ellie!
vet did say after 3 antibiotics he has had reactions too she is marking his chart he cannot have any penicillin derivatives of antibiotics. makes me nervous. he always has something going on with him so not sure what antibitiocs will work in the future. he can't even have bendryl. face swelled like a basketball it was awerful.
so, getting back to himself 600 bucks later. for a UTI. that's my boy

Yeah. Expensive little buggers. At least we aren’t having to pay human prices?
There are many classes of antibiotics so don’t worry that there won’t be anything for him.

My heart is shattered. As I suspected he has bladder/urethra cancer. at vet all day yesterday, tests , biopsies and lab work. consulted with a specialist. everyone said he is the sweetest boy and was so good during the testing and loves everyone. My sweet boy has bladder/urethra cancer. vet prescribed Piroxicam for palliative care. he is still happy playing with his duck enjoying life. I promise him dignity and peace when he needs me most.

Oh no. This news isn't how I wanted to start my day. This is always hard because we know what the C word means but the good part is Sam just knows he is loved. He really does look just like my brother's rottie Max back in the day....they are gentle giants that love to play but don't know their own strength. Enjoy each day and take care of both of you. Cancer sux but love is eternal.

I want to travel across the world to give him a cuddle he is so so adorable!!! I remember my uncle once adopted a rottie when i was a baby the owners had not brought it up very well and it just used to growl and go to snap all the time but that just shows its down to them EVIL!!!! Owners, but look at this big fella with his duck, a big bulky chappy like this with a duck!!! bless his heart! And you can tell that he is such a soft giant look at him such a beauty he really is.
I love the duck picture it really tickles me, you can only imagine these with something a bit more meaty maybe? But Sammy with a duck!
