It took quite a while, but we were finally able to introduce Bunny to the boys last week. They were not thrilled at first, but Baero especially warmed up fairly quickly.
In other news, Lynnie had severe gastritis (thought to be an intestinal blockage before surgery) and had to have emergency surgery a few hours ago. His pre surgery proBnP showed an abnormality. I'm absolutely heartbroken. We'll be scheduling a cardiology appointment as soon as we can get in. On the bright side, they didn't have to go into his intestines to fix the problem.

If I recall Lonnie had an elevated ProBNP a ways back? …hoping they show no changes in the heart when scanned. Hoping he heals quickly…Lair Prayers are sent.
He's home! He's lost a significant amount of weight and still lethargic (completely understandable after the surgery he went through). We're so grateful to have him home and healing. He absolutely hates all his medication though, including his painkillers. Here's hoping he won't need them for too much longer.

Lynnie got diagnosed with HCM today. I'm heartbroken. The left side was only a bit dilated but the ProBnP was much more elevated than expected compared to the scan. He's on benazapril and clopidogrel now, with furosemude for emergencies. Prayers please

Stay positive. The scan gives a better picture of what is going on. The bloodwork shows the heart is working harder, but the scan shows the true picture. Our girl is on your meds and more, so know you can touch base with me if you want to chat. Keeping positive vibes.
