That being said, my baby loves going out, and people love him. Whether it's to my job, the vet, the groomer, or even to the mall, he typically enjoys the attention.
What he doesn't like: toe and nail cleaning. He acts like I'm torturing him when I do it. The little heathen also enjoys climbing up the back of the couch, snuggling under blankies with his humans, and playing with the other cats.

Hahaha, I did indeed, and he seems unimpressed. Toulouse is also not going to be particularly thrilled, the new boy is supposed to be very similar to Lynnie in personality; all over everything and everyone to get the attention he wants.

Tentative date is the 25th... I'll be going in tomorrow morning to beg my boss for the 24th off so we can drive to pick him up. It's about an 8 hour drive, so we'll try to drive there Saturday, get a room for the night, pick him up Sunday morning and head home.

So I've been approved for the Saturday off! I think we'll be starting the drive Friday night, and sightsee for a few hours before we pick up our boy Saturday. So hopefully the 24th we'll have gotcha day pics! I've been getting at least one video a day, and he's as wild as Lynnie... I need to find Trouble 1 and Trouble 2 shirts

Thanks everyone! We're on the way home, so far so good! He's been pretty great in the car, sleeping on one of our laps.

His first vet appointment is tomorrow afternoon, and after that I'm going to try to slowly introduce him to Lynnie and the rest of the crew.

@Yoda mom I just got this one from chewy. It was very inexpensive for the size (~$70). All of our cats love it, including the 20 lb Maine Coon mix.

@Sheldon13 I was very, very surprised Lynnie took to him so easily. I was expecting jealousy, but I'm so happy it went well. I came home and my mom had let him loose with the general population. I freaked our for a bit, but it was unwarranted. The little one plays with all the other cats, and he and Lynnie are playing when he's not cuddling up with someone or napping in my bed.

So Lynnie had his second heart scan, and we got some not so great news. His ProBnP is still elevated. The scan didn't show any visible differences in his heart, so as of now we're continuing with a ProBnP and possibly a scan every 6 months.

I also start grooming school Monday, so wish me luck!

Lots of changes! I'm now a groomer. We sign for our house Monday. Once we make a few improvements, we'll be moving in and the cats will have their own room. The baby had his first birthday today!
