Hello everyone! New here~
About 2-3 weeks ago, my 7-year old fatboy Nikita developed what looks like some dark (black & brown) spots on his mid to lower back area near tail base. Some of these spots are flat and feel normal and other spots feel/look a bit dry and crusty. He doesn't seem to be in any pain and isn't doing any abnormal or excessive scratching or licking. Also, I have a pink chicken and she is fine and doesn't have these spots. I've been living in a new apartment the past 9 months with very big windows so they now get a lot of sunlight on a daily basis. Anything thoughts on what this could be? Sun pigmentation spots? Just dry skin? He's never had this before and now I think it's time to go to the vet. Wanted to also get some advice here! Thank you all!~
