Good luck with everything and hope Purrfect Chaos gets better soon! Our kitty is having skin issues as well, but slowly getting somewhere... I have also heard and I hope that is the case, that sometimes kitties grow out of things like this... :) fingers crossed and please update!

- Chaos can't eat any processed cat food that we tried ( like caned food, sashetes etc)- becouse of food chemistry, conservants, colorants and so on and on. We are searching new food to try. I buyed like 14 different kinds and brands on-line just to make samples, we will be checking on our visit.

- He can eat raw meat of lamb, rabbit, goose, turkey, duck so we are on raw non suplemented diet right now, so i search every market to buy some from his list.( its hard for me, i'm vegan and never have to prepeare raw met- sometimes from whole animal, but i trie for him) And he is happly eating all of it.

- We will check all the BARF diet supplement- if hi is allergic to food chemistry we will go raw, but raw need to be suplemented! So we need to check this too. If he is allergic to taurine, wit e, omega oils or any other that will be a big problem. We don't need any other healt problems in case of diet difficence. He can't live on raw, pure meat all his life. Taurine if vital for him. ( For short period of time- ok, but we need pernament solution)

The logical thing to do is to avoid any store bought cat foods because of the problem that they contain a lot of preservatives and things that are problematic. Instead you should buy just the meat and add the vitamins and minerals.

I'm very worried that you say you are feeding raw non supplemented. This will be a problem, not after one day, but it is only a matter of time.

Because Chaos has so many allergies, I think you would benefit from someone helping you to come up with a recipe for Chaos. I would try the lady that runs Perfectly Rawsome. I was told about her by a friend who got help from her for her dog. Explain you have a cat. We have the technology to bridge any distance :)

Hello everyone! I stopped writing for some time because i have massive, massive problem with how to stay positive, and caring and all that. Sometimes I just want to give up. I'm so stressed and tired with all the vet visits, check ups, blood tests... And now with the covid-19 (i'm a midwife, working at the hospital so its a busy time for all of us).
But I will give you some update on Chaos situation. After the bioresonance we established what can he eat ( one type of caned food only- turkey with shrimps), what kind of litter we can use ( also only one kind), with what we can do our loundry etc.. Basically I change all my routine and home life fro him. I clean with UV lamp, have a air purrifier, steam cleaner all that. I was thinking, hey its gonna to be ok! We made it. we have it under control.
And then ( becouse its always som kind of " and then or but" with us) last week I woke up to see that Chaos face was black. Like BLACK. When I have a closer look its turned out that all of his face is just one giant scrape wound. It was all scub. It smelled like fresh wound, like plasma. So I rush to call our vet. The apointment was the next day.
Chaos get steroids (3 shots in 6 days) and antybiotics ( injection this time- we are at our 7 from 14 and I cry every day when I need to put needle in his skin) and probiotics. We take another round of smears- thers no bacteria on his skin, but now we have Malessezia. And its spreeding like crazy. His face is healed from wound but stil black due to fungus? I bath him in Ketoconazole shampoo but i think its not working. I read that Malessezia can spread to humans and can "live" on surfaces- generally its really hard to get rid of. And i'm so, so, so frustrated...

Here are a couple of good recipes.

www.catnutrition.org/recipes.html

For starting out it's easier to buy ground food and add the vitamins and minerals. In the USA there are companies that sell ground meat for pets that includes bones and organs, so you don't need to do any grinding. Hopefully you can find someone in Poland esp. if you live in a big city like Warsaw. I hope these ideas help.
Thank you! I know he can't eat non supplemented raw meat - so we've been to BARF cat dietitian. Unfortunately Chaos is allergic to some of the supplements like yeasts, calcium suplements, hemoglobin, omega acids sources... We try to come up with balanced recipe for him but its hard. And despite that I live in Warsaw actually its hard to find certain meat parts. Like livers, or hearts ( needed in BARF)- we mostly have chicken or pig livers in stores- and he can't eat those. I tried buying these pre ground mixes like whole rabbit for example- but stil its not suplemented. And we are back at the beginnign wich is Chaos being allergic to suplements. :(

@Purrfect Chaos I'm sorry you are going thru this. We are living in strange, difficult days. I keep reminding myself "one day at a time" .....

I'm not familiar with Malassezia but found this online:

"Chlorhexidine, miconazole, ketoconazole and itraconazole are the four most commonly used medications in antifungal shampoos for dogs with Malassezia dermatitis."

If ketoconazole isn't working, maybe try one of the others. I'm sorry I don't know very much but let's page @Yoda mom because I think she might have experience.

Thank you, I just have a bad day i think, I ended my shift then it was raining on my way home, then my bus was late, then i sleeped almost all day and woke up with a headache. And on top of that my purrfect baby is allways sick one way or another.
I will make another try with this shampoo tomorrow morning, and then we will see, next I will try to find something with soubstances you listed. But i fear he will be allergic to this ( he is to Malaseb for example- wich is antifungal i belive), and we will be starting over, and over... Tomorrow everything is going back to normal with me fighting with all of our bad luck.

This might sound crazy but maybe you can use the same supplement I use. It's made in the USA but the lady that started the company is European and I'm pretty sure she ships to Warsaw. It's a company called Alnutrin.

Know What You Feed Your Cat - Shop Online

If not, the exact list of what you need is here:

Do you know If there is a list of ingredients used in the supplement powder somewhere?

Thanks! Sadly it will be no use for us once again :( I checked the ingredient list and there is for example, egg yolk powder in the first place. Chaos is allergic to egg whites, egg yolks and egg shells- probably because he is allergic to chicken protein.
What i'm trying to say here is that i know about suplementation, BARF or raw diet, we even tried whole prey diet for him and he loves it, so I feed him only with mouses for one day of the week - but becouse i work 12 or 24 hour shifts and is days or nights or both- I need some kind of pre made food he can eat when I'm not home ( we have a automatic 5 meals bowl with cooling system and one kind of caned food he can eat safly). I'm part of several polish raw and whole pray cat diet groups over at facebook, i'm doing my reaserch and i really really know what are the rules of feeding healty cat with raw. I read articles, books and every piece of information i can get. But this is all abuout a healty cat- wich Chaos is not. So we went to dietetitian. She is trying to come up with recipes for him with limited suplementation he can use. Becouse if he can eat turkey and rabbit and we made a BARF mix of turkey and rabbit parts in BARF calculator we are using he will be able to eat this ( meat only) but then I need to add suplemets- so i will add taurine and its still ok- he can eat this, but then its time to add some sort of dry hemoglobin or fresh/freezed blood... dry hemoglobin in pre made suplements or just in form of powder is made from pigs or cows blood mostly. Once again allergic to beef and pork. And after that ingrediet Chaos will not be able to eat that BARF mix. And a BARF mix need a hemoglobin when theres is no hembglobin the mix i lackin on suplementation.
Our problem is that we can't just throw things on him. When we need to introduce something new to our life, like I want to change my own shampoo or body wash i need to take the body wash and my cat to veterinarian and check with bioresonance if Chaos is potentially allergic to my new shower gel or not. And its the same for everything suplements, foods, even scented candles or my perfumes etc.
And I think this is the reason i'm a little taired of all this. When we are making progress with allergy some fungus entered the scene.

No wonder you feel tired, it's been one thing after another for you. Even I have to remind myself sometimes how nice it will be when the craziness is finished. I don't know about you, but for me visualizing the goal helps keep me going.

Remember to give yourself some time to relax and recharge your batteries. Like the saying says, Rome wasn't built in a day. Hopefully the dietitian can help with food for Chaos.
