@MaddieP , oh I know, my breeder I adopted from has adorable babies I see pics of... when the time is right.... someday... :)

I have to do right by my crew now and give them all the best of love and care
That's exactly what I'm trying to do now. I bought our crested gecko a larger habitat earlier, and I'll have to order soil and plants for it. He's going to be a very happy gecko!

@MaddieP wow ! stunning babies!!! I have never seen a crested gecko soo cute... what breeds are Atlas and Pandora? beautiful! I try to take care of the black racer in my yard. my neigh wanted to kill it I said NOOOO she is good for the garden.. she suns herself on my walkway in the summer.

funny story you will appreciate... years ago my neigh went on a blind date, he told her he was bringing baby with him. she thought it was a human baby... well , I saw him when he was waiting for her outside... he had is 8 foot plus reticulated python (sp) on her front lawn! she about had a heart attack.

hugs to you n gentle strokes to all!

@Yoda mom They're both ball pythons, just different genetics to create their morphs! Pandora is a Champagne and Atlas is a Lesser Spider. He's almost 7 years old, so he's fully grown, but give her a few years and she'll be larger than him.
I love big snakes, I just can't have one around the bunnies. I have a friend with a seven foot male red tail, and I adore him!
Cresties are very cool! They love to climb and jump. My favorite part of them is their feet, which look almost like leaves. They love having live plants in their vivariums, so I'll be ordering plants for the new one shortly!

Not 100% sure if this is allowed, but the rabbit rescue I've been volunteering with is having an online auction due to our largest annual fundraiser being canceled due to COVID. There's some great stuff in there, not just for bunny lovers either! We've had a ton of medical issue bunnies lately, including my foster bunny Galen, who had exploratory surgery. Even if you would just like and share the page it widens the audience and we're more likely to get bids!

I have a question for my more experienced Sphynx owners. Should I do a ProBNP test or an echocardiogram? What are the benefits/disadvantages of each? Lynnie has officially made one year, so it's that time.

We did a baseline on all of ours at one year of age with an echocardiogram. You can opt to do Pro BNP yearly though ...if a spike then they recommend echo anyways. But an echo is the best way to go.

Advantage...price of blood test is cheaper echo is more expensive and it is more thorough. Our one boy had his second clear heart scan....the cardiologist said we can do next in 2 years, I said I still want to have ProBNP done in between they said good call.

I personally think getting a baseline at 1 year of age is a good footprint to establish. @MaddieP

Your baby is so cute.

Starting another adventure! I've been wanting a pond for years, and I've been having issues with depression, so to get my mind off things I found a stock tank, and now we have a little pond!

Also finally got around to setting up Emrys' new abode. In about 3 weeks the plants should be settled enough to move him over. It's kind of sparse now, but once we move his larger cork tube and the plants start growing, it should look pretty good!

Well, the pond is now occupied! A coworker's family has a pond of spawning fantails, and we had the opportunity to go catch some yesterday. The family who had the pond is wonderful, and our fish are gorgeous!

Even Lynnie thought so!

I'm so excited to see how they do, and I'm already planning to upgrade their pond as they grow!

It must have been fun to go and catch them yourselves.

Love and Sphynx ~ It’s all you need
It was very fun! My younger brother and boyfriend went with me (although I caught most of the fish, four years working in a pet store gets you used to catching fish!), and we talked with our hosts for a few hours. They have 5 acres and a fishing pond, along with a bunch of gardens and the goldfish pond. I think it helped convince my SO to go with a larger yard when we buy a house.

At least someone is glad I'm sick and homebound until Monday

Sidenote, I've gotten some pretty awesome photos of my bettas. Captain Nemo is amassing quite the harem of girls. 6 ladies and growing. Our LFS got in some pretty gorgeous locally bred koi females, so my dad's going to grab a couple for me tomorrow.

Another veiltail

And my last veiltail

The amount of variation is amazing! I would really love a solid red half-moon and more kois, plus a blue mustard.

After I'm back to work, I'm going to make an appointment with a cardiologist for the little man. Also, looks like Calista is staying. My dad really likes her and her adopter backed out, so at least for now, we have a semi-permanent baby.

@Sheldon13 I think that's just how the veiltails are shaped. My half moons aren't showing any signs, and my male hasn't built a bubble nest. Who knows? Fish can be weird. These are my first females, so I guess we'll see!
