I appreciate all of your thoughts. We got to the hospital late last night, and as soon as my grandmother got to his room and said her goodbyes, he passed. I'm thankful it wasn't dragged out into months of agony and he went quickly and peacefully.

Thanks everyone for your sweet thoughts. It's been a long few weeks. Last week was my birthday, and my best friend planned a week long trip to Disney. I had never been, so I was excited to go. Well, it quickly went awry. We all caught COVID in succession and unfortunately it kinda ruined our trip. We made it back late last Saturday night, and confirmed we all had it. I ended up being out of work and quarantining in the spare room all week. I go back to work on Tuesday, and I'm hoping I can be on my feet working all day. All I can say is that it was a sweet gesture, but the results weren't great.

Our wedding is coming up super fast, and our breeder has babies, which means I have kitten fever. Me and hubby-to-be are discussing a possible third nakey in the close-ish future. This time it would definitely be a girl bambino or dwelf. We already have a possible name picked out! After the wedding I think the cat room will be getting a bit of a makeover.

We got fantastic news! Despite a super long waiting list and only 1 kitten out of 25 (!!!) Being a girl bambino, we will be bringing home our baby girl! Maybe not quite for Christmas since she's so tiny, but she is joining our family!

Congratulations! What a cutie she is
I have some pretty terrible news. Our furry boy Toulouse has been having some health issues for the past several weeks, due to what we (and the vet) thought was stress due to going on our honeymoon. It started with what seemed to be a UTI that would briefly clear then come back. We went to the vet yesterday and they took a culture to send off in case of antibiotic resistant bacterial infection. This morning, he passed away. We had a necropsy done due to the suddenness, and he passed from HCM. Highly unexpected to us, especially since the two nakeds get tested yearly, but I never thought about getting him tested. I'm absolutely heartbroken. He was my first cat I adopted as an adult, and he wasn't even 6 yet. We're going to miss his fluffy butt so much.
