Hi Jaimee! First of all, congrats on your baby, he is a stunner! I know I'm a bit late at a reply, but life got in the way the last few months. You originally asked about food, and I didn't see any replies regarding the subject, so I'm offering advice. I have two Spyhxes, Hunter (my pirate; she had an eye removed due to severe infections they both had when they were rescued from the garbage can they were put in), and Kenzi. We've had them for three years now (the vet figures they were 3 years old when they chose us for their forever home) and I don't know what I'd ever do without them, but I digress...
As I said, I'm not sure if you've been given advice regarding diet, so if you have, you can disregard this... Kilo should be getting some wet food. My girls each get 3 tablespoons of dry, three times a day, and a quarter can of wet once a day. Sphynx cats need high protein diets, so I only buy the best of what's available. Fromm dry food, and Go wet. (Or I make my own, with beef roasts, with a bit of carrot and green veg, if it goes on sale under $4 a pound). It's also strongly advised to give them Lysine L, once a day,. It is huge in preventing respiratory problems, unfortunately something the breed is prone to. If you get it in a pet food store, it's gonna cost you a fortune, like $30+, especially in Canada (I'm in Montreal). If you go to Shoppers Drug, you can go to the vitamin section, and get a big bottle of 90 caps, for $8. Which of course, will last six months. Break the cap open, and mix half with Kilo's wet food. He'll never notice, as it is tasteless. Keep the other half for the next evening's meal.
Also another tip, though not that you asked... Costco litter is the bomb. It's only 8$ for 40 pounds. I've tried all kinds and that is the best, and cheapest.
I think that's all I wanted to share. If there's anything else you need, don't hesitate!
CONGRATULATIONS! I know how long you have waited, and how determined you were. Kilo is absolutely adorable.
How are things going now that it's been a month? I'm sure you are even more in love.
That's the wonderful thing about Sphynx, you think you can't love them anymore than you already do, but it seems like every day or so they just tug on you even more.
Oh congrats girl! I know right where Chillawack is! I lived in Bellingham Washington and watched many junior hockey games up north!!! So excited for you 2!!!! He’s a cutie!
@sphynkles Congratulations on your new girl! Kilo Ren is just adorable and I know you are already inseparable. I couldn't be happier for you! This is the kind of magic that happens when you team up with fellow Lairians! Keep posting lots of photos and sphynxie stories.

Hi Jaimee and Kilo Ren! I am just now reading this, and I am so happy for you. You have worked so hard for Kilo and he is absolutely beautiful. Marcus A. A. is a wee bit jealous that Kilo has guinea pigs to play with. He has been trying for months to convince his Daddieo to get him a guinea pig. He is fascinated by them every time he sees them in the pet store. Now that Kilo has owned you for more than a month, hopefully everything is going really well. You might try training him to do some tricks. You could use some treats and the laser pointer to train him to do an obstacle course, just like the ones dogs use in agility training. You will be amazed at how fast he can learn tricks.
