It's not till nov 8 that was the first appointment they had available. So I reached out to my breeder and they told me to use this ... they said make sure it's the ointment. And that they used it on a cat they had and after a week the rash went away. They also said they had to change food to acana grasslands and the orijen was to strong for some of the kittens and was giving them tummy issues. I'm so frustrated!!!!!
Do you think it was this cream that did the trick? I know this is an old thread but how’s Nigel doing anymore rashes or bumps?

Hi! My boy Tobias has rashes every now and then. They come and go and are very intensive for about one hour. The doctors have not figured out what it could be and we can´t seem to associate the rashes to the food he eats. He has had 2 shots of cortisone which help, however it is only temporary. Has this happened to you? Do you have any comments? Picture is attached. Any help is welcome... thanks :(
This is my Sphynx as well. He has seen several vets and it has come down to trial and error. For us it’s a good allergy and has led us to feed raw pork or rabbit. A good dry food is Natural Balance LID Salomon with chickpeas as well. I give 1/2 a Benadryl and 1/2 a reactine (I try to just do a reactine but for that rash you need both every 8 hours. After 1/2 day it will improve. I also give Haadii a bath. All soaps, coconut oil, mineral oil effect him but I give him allergy medicine thé a cool 5 min bath, sometimes just with water to cool him down. Make a chart but from my 2 years of tears everything triggers it but food is the 95% big factor for us. :( Allergy test are a waste of $2000 because they will tell you what outside factors but not food. We did trial and error and made a huge list. We do our best. Many sleepless nights and tears, but if you can switch to raw pork, rabbit or lamb (NO birds for us) kangaroo is suppose to be amazing but wasn’t a hit here. Good luck! ;)

Welcome to sphynxlair, good to have you.
Oh my, your baby either has a yeast infection, or allergies.
I would have blood drawn have them test for anything your baby
could be allergic to. Drawn blood is more expensive, but worth it.
The best. There is never anymore wondering.

Plus, I would have the skin scraped and checked for yeast infection.
Otherwise, your spending money on vet visit and medicine that isn't
working. A guessing game. Vets that doesn't know much about Sphynx
will try everything and it's costing you and putting your baby through all this
suffering for nothing.

Keep us updated.
percent agree! ❤️
